Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you offer 16-inch on-center studs?

A: Yes. Our standard build includes 24-inch on-center studs, but you can add this option for an additional fee.

Q: Will you build my shed kit?

A: No. We do not provide this service. We are focused on building our sheds using our plans and quality materials.

Q: Can you give me a discount?

A: No. We do not negotiate our prices, but please check back again for any special offers we may have listed.

Q: Do you charge taxes?

A: Yes. We are a business and are required to charge taxes in the states where we operate.

Q: Can I get a cash discount?

A: No. Cash has its own expenses and risks. We prefer to take payment online using PayPal, but we do accept cash and checks.

Q: Do you offer financing?

A: No. We are a small business and expect full payment when the shed build is complete. You may pay by check, cash or credit card.

Q: Can you build on my existing slab?

A: Yes. It should be the exact size, square and level. We will use 2x4 treated joists for your flooring since the slab will provide a strong foundation.

Q: If you use my slab, will I get a discount?

A: No. Building on a slab requires special tools and techniques that cover any savings.

Q: Can you pour my slab?

A: No. We do not provide this service.

Q: I don't want double-doors, can I get just a single door instead? Is that cheaper?

A: Yes. You can get a single door only, but it does not change the price.

Q: Will you get a permit or HOA approval?

A: No. You are responsible for all building permits, zoning requirements, setbacks, rights of way, and HOA approvals. We can provide a simple elevation for use with these processes.

Q: Can you wire my shed for electricity?

A: No. We do not provide this service.

Q: Why do you charge an extra carrying fee?

A: We do this when we must carry all the shed material and our tools more than 200 feet from our truck to your installation location. We do not drive our trucks in your yard to avoid causing damage to your landscaping. When we must carry everything a longer distance, it adds time and effort to our installation.

Q: Why do you charge an extra leveling fee?

A: We level your shed using solid concrete blocks that are 4-inches thick. We also dig down into your yard to ensure the blocks are level. When your yard has a hill, we will stack blocks at each corner to ensure the shed is level. If the hill is steep, we may need to use 4x4 treated posts cut to size and seated in concrete post blocks. This requires more expensive materials and extra time and effort.
